After 20 years of walking in the Lake District, I was slowly coming to the conclusion my walking days were coming to an end due to Arthritis in my knees.

There is no doubt that the Original Copper Heelers have reduced the arthritic pain in my spine and left knee.
However, the most satisfying benefit has been the virtual elimination of the problem with my left sacroiliac joint. Previously, when I bent down to pick something up the pain was excruciating, but now I can do this without any discomfort.

I was given a pair of copper inserts by a friend to see if they would help with pain associated with my osteoarthritis.

I had already had two successful hip replacements over the last two years but was now suffering with knee pain.

I had been wearing the copper inserts for about 3 weeks in my trainers, when we had the first heavy snow fall of the year.

As I was going in and out of the house in the snow I stopped wearing my trainers, substituting boots for outside and then changing into my slippers when I came in, forgetting all about the inserts.

I have suffered with psoriatic arthritis for two years. Initially I was in pain throughout my entire body to the extent that I couldn’t walk; get in the bath or even go to the toilet unaided. It was horrendous. I have three children, the youngest being two years old now, and not being able to pick him up or cuddle him was heartbreaking.

The pain affected me mostly in the spring but we have our own garden design business so I couldn’t take time off. This meant that my husband had to help look after me instead of being able to work at our busiest time of year. This had a knock-on effect of increasing financial stress – in turn the stress provokes the inflammation!

I went to my doctor, who prescribed a chemo-therapy drug which I didn’t want to take due to its recent appearance on the market place and possible side-effects, as well as the need to have weekly blood tests. Instead I took opium-based pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs. Although these helped to a certain degree, I was still in a lot of pain for about six months.

Having refused the medication suggested by the rheumatologists and doctors, it was up to me to find a solution that I could live with. I read a lot about various diets and eventually followed a combination of the Kousmine and Seignalet diets a strict diet which eliminated wheat, dairy, alcohol and caffeine. I had to supplement my diet quite heavily to ensure I was not missing out any essential food elements at this point with omega 3, probiotics and a combination of colza, olive and nut oils. I was still taking the ani-inflammatories, but was able to lower the strength. I also replaced the opium based pain killers with paracetamol, and after 4 months I started to feel better.

I was worried though, as I was still taking anti-inflammatories and paracetamol on a daily basis, as the pain was still significant in my fingers, knees and feet.

Within days of receiving my Original Copper Heelers and inserting them in my everyday shoes, I felt considerable relief from the pains in my feet that I had been suffering for some four or five years, and this relief has continued ever since.

I still occasionally experience pains in both feet, but they are very slight compared to the severity that I had previously experienced, and in fact are quite bearable. If they never get any worse, I shall be well satisfied.

Six years ago I moved to Ripponden in the South Pennines, to take advantage of the wonderful walking country in this area. I was introduced to copper heelers by my Auntie, Anita Wilde. I have struggled for a diagnosis for the past 2 years as I suffer from great pain in the top of my leg since having a back problem.

I just had to write to let you know how wonderful your Original Copper Heeler insoles are.

I have been playing football on a regular basis for nearly forty years. A couple of months ago I noticed that after playing I was experiencing considerable pains in the joints of my right knee and each time I played the pain got worse and took longer and longer to ease off. I was resigned to having to finally stop playing football.

When someone suggested I purchase a pair of your copper heelers I must admit I was a bit sceptical that they would have any effect but I thought I would give them a try anyhow. During the last year I had developed very serious arthritis in my left hand which made it very painful to lift items or manipulate things with this hand.
Within 2 weeks of purchasing and using copper insoles in my shoes the pain had disappeared and it was possible to manipulate items as normal with this hand which seems life a miracle as it really had started to become quite debilitating and painful.

I purchased my first pair in mid July and by the end of that month I started feeling the benefit. I then purchase a second pair when my Brother sent for his pair, on my recommendation.

I am an active person who likes walking. We live on the famous Antrim Coast Road and my husband and I start our day by walking to the Black Arch and back each morning. I have always enjoyed good health and have never been in hospital apart from the birth of our three children.

By February 2007, with no improvement, I visited my GP who advised patience and painkillers. Allowing for the temporary respite due to painkillers nothing changed and with a holiday in Madeira looming I was quite concerned.

As a last resort, almost, I decided with some scepticism to try your Copper Heelers. After about 4 days I noticed a slight improvement but was still taking painkillers. I stopped the medication and the improvement in mobility continued, prompting my order for a second pair.

I am thoroughly happy with my purchase, within 3 days of using them the pain in my knees had gone. When I get ready for bed my left knee is twice the size of my right knee and yet I don't feel even a twinge from it.

When I retired from full time teaching two years ago I planned to do all sorts of active things but almost immediately arthritis developed in my right foot, which 'stopped my gallop'!
I tried many topical applications but nothing really worked. Then I read an article about Copper Heelers in The Mail on Sunday and sent off for a pair.

After 3-4 weeks there was quite an improvement so I decided to send for another pair. I find them incredibly comfortable and wouldn’t be without them now.
